Betty's sixth apperance (1931). voice is provided by Little Ann Little. Bimbo shows up at Betty's door with his assistant's to help Betty move house. Bimbo takes one glance at Betty, and falls in love with her. Bimbo then sing's "Hello Beautiful" to Betty which is like a reference to Maurice Chevalier, who is later heard in the Betty Boop Cartoon stopping the show (1932).

Betty Boop in Boop Oop a Doop (1932). voice by Little Ann Little or either Margie Hines who knows they all sound alike, the typical Helen Kane impersonation. Betty's a circus headliner in Boop-oop-a-doop. Betty can be seen on horseback. Betty then star's as a liontamer & a highwire walker. Upon the highwire, Betty sings a jazz number, "Do Something, Boop-oop-a-doop," which had been a hit song for Helen Kane in 1929; Betty, of course, was based on flapper ragtime singer Helen Kane.

This one is banned. Cartoon Network cut out when bugs took a sleeping pill. This version isn't exactly complete because one scene is cut out. When Elmer dives to the rabbit hole and Bugs moves it. The vibration shakes all the leaves off Elmer and One would see a fig leaf. This part is cut from this version. This one was found on an old homemade CD.

The following concise, informative description was taken from http://en.wikipedia.org: Flip the Frog was Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's first sound cartoon. It is about a happy-go-lucky, needy frog, named Flip the Frog. This cartoon was created by Ub Iwerks in 1930. He had drawn a frog and his girlfriend in "Night'", one of the last Silly Symphonies short films he drew while working for Walt Disney. After leaving Disney, Ub Iwerks began the Flip cartoon series with the help of Pat Powers. The...

One of the first cartoons made dedicated for the early TV market. In the 1960's animation was an expensive precess costing up to $2,500 a minute to produce. Space Angel cartoons were mostly storyboads where the only movement was the mouths of the characters(Syncro-Vox system). This animation style was similar to Clutch Cargo Cartoons! Space Angel was the code name of Scott McCloud, an agent for the Earth Bureau of Investigation. Devoted to the security and welfare of the solar system, McCloud...

Tom Terrific was an early animated series on American television, presented as part of the Captain Kangaroo children's television show. Created by Gene Deitch under the Terrytoons studio (which was a subsidiary of CBS), Tom Terrific ran in a series of five-minute cartoons created specifically for the Captain Kangaroo show from 1957-1959, and was rerun on Kangaroo for years thereafter. Drawn in a simple, even clumsy, style, it featured a gee-whiz boy hero, Tom Terrific, who lived in a treehouse...

THE BRAVE TIN SOLDIER very closely follows the original story by the Brothers Grimm. A one-legged tin soldier is cruelly mocked by other toys because of his deformity. The soldier falls in love with a toy ballerina who is desired by the toy king. The king exercises his military power to get the girl for himself. The tale ends tragically, with a surprisingly graphic execution by firing squad. This is probably too violent and weird for little kids. The cartoon itself is very nicely animated,...

This one should start some arguments! We all know that the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer character is NOT PD, even though IA has a copy of the revised cartoon of that name, with the famous song added. Superman, the Shadow, Dick Tracy and the Lone Ranger are just a few other characters on here that are trademarked, but still appear in PD video. And we know that Rankin & Bass made a stop-motion animation of Rudolph in 1964, with an invalid copyright notice claiming copyright from the year...

This was an extremely difficult Betty Boop to find. Enjoy. She could not be any worse than our present one.

This animation has been produced on Nov 4-5-6, 2011 during the "Cartoon Fabrica", the animation workshop for kids at the 5th Big Cartoon Festival in Moscow. I worked with many many many kids of different ages, some as young as 2 years old. Anja Boguslavskaya lead the workshop with me. The workshop used PASTA as material to animate. Younger kids practiced on direction and speed, older kids experimented with composition and micro-stories. Grabbed with Stopmotion: linuxstopmotion.org...
